The City of Decatur is encouraging citizens to get an up-close and personal look at the city’s budgeting process March 20, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on the Square. (The event will move to the Decatur Recreation Center, 231 Sycamore Street, in the case of inclement weather.) Find out the “pending spending” planned for the 2019 city budget and how it supports the 2010 Strategic Plan principles developed by Decatur citizens. Talk to representatives from all city departments and play Budget Bingo for fun prizes.
